GROUP PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE PROGRAM FOR CARAVAN PARKS

$20M PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE COVER PROVIDED BY A GLOBAL INSURER TO BETTER PROTECT CARAVAN PARKS

The Campground Operators Association (COA) is a global service company that aims to establish, promote and enhance the provision and development of caravan parks

Joining COA, means caravan parks are entitled to access the COA Public Liability Group Insurance Program (GIP), a $20M public liability insurance arrangement formed specifically to cover caravan parks that permit camping and related activities.

COA holds a 'master' public liability insurance policy, which notes participating campgrounds within the policy and each park applies for and receives their own $20M policy and summary schedule.

To access the COA GIP, caravan parks must join COA and pay the membership fee. Depending upon the membership plan chosen, the membership process may require the campground to be provided with an Emergency Management Plan (EMP). Education for the campground is also provided of the immediate and ongoing use of the EMP. The EMP ensures the campground is in compliance with the minimum requirements of the relevant state and territory health and safety laws. The program means each caravan park member will have their own $20M public liability insurance policy, which will specifically name it and any interests. This is not available anywhere else in the world or by any other organisation!

Any caravan parks added mid-term via affiliation will be prorated until the renewal date. All campgrounds added during the course of the year will renew on the same date and an annual premium will be charged from this date. Ready to take the next step? Join today!
